International Engineering for Energy

In the field of conventional energy, CMC built the first modern coal mine and the first coal-fired power plant in Barapukuria, Bangladesh, which were the first EPC projects conducted by a Chinese company and the largest labor export project of Chinese Companies in Bangladesh at that time. The Barapukuria projects have become the cradles of Chinese enterprises going global. In Bangladesh, CMC has undertaken a series of power plant projects in Sirajganj, Ghorashal and Madhumati, and become a leading player in the construction of the Bangladesh, China, India and Myanmar Economic Corridor (BCIM).

In the field of clean energy, CMC has fully embraced the global transformation to a green and carbon-neutral economy and has extended its business to renewable energy in both its domestic and global markets. CMC has financed and constructed the largest photovoltaic power plant project in Central and Eastern Europe-100 MW Solar Park in Kaposvár, Hungary.
